Ron W. Roecker has been in the music, entertainment and brand marketing business for 20 years. He’s worked with the biggest brands, artists, celebrities and entertainment properties in the world, including the GRAMMY Awards, Latin GRAMMYs, MTV, CBS Television, Teen Choice, Maroon5, Beyonce, Madonna, Will.i.Am, Kanye West, Kelly Clarkson, OneRepublic, Ludacris, Pete Wentz, Pink, Microsoft Xbox360, Nike, NBA, Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” and more.  

After serving as Vice President of Communications & Artist Relations for the GRAMMY Awards for six years, Ron started working with independent artists and established icons (from country and pop to hip hop and EDM) to help define and manage their brands, including artist development, marketing, publicity, social media strategy and GRAMMY campaigns.

He’s made a name for himself as a pop culture and music influencer; brand communications senior strategist; client confidant; entrepreneur; and creative madman. Ron is an expert in media relations and public speaking training, as well as creative facilitation, crisis communications/ issues management and content development.

He has been featured as a music and pop culture expert on “Entertainment Tonight,” BBC, CNN, MTV, REELZ, “Today Show,” and other national and international outlets. He also travels the nation as a keynote speaker (http://baronridgeproductions.com/speakers) discussing topics as diverse as “Hollywood and Hollywouldn’t: Lessons I Learned about Biz from the Biz,” “Marketing Your Brand Personally and Professionally,” and he recently moderated “Deep Dive: Instagram Influencers” for Digital Hollywood.

He’s worked with global non-profits and initiatives including World Wildlife Fund, Live Earth/Live Earth India, MusiCares, GRAMMY Museum, Wounded Warrior Project, Special Olympics and Playing for Change Foundation.

He was a delegate to the Music Forum between America and China in Beijing, China, and coordinated the largest music media event in India’s history for Live Earth India with former VP Al Gore.

Ron’s achievements have been recognized and honored by PRSA Best in Show PRISM, HALO, Telly, CIPRA, MarCom, and PRWeek awards. He was a finalist for PRNews PR Professional of the Year and has served on many national and local PRSA and non-profit Boards. Ron also was an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Communication & Journalism.

Ron grew up in the Midwest, lives in Los Angeles and is the favorite uncle to several amazing human beings!
