Ever wondered what it takes to "make it" as an artist? Well, me too! For the past several years I've been unpacking this idea of "making it." I mean, what does that mean exactly anyway? "Making it"? Seems like a loaded idea and potentially a never-ending journey. So, this month I'm launching my new YouTube channel: Interviews with Artists Who Are Making It. Over the past five years I've been privy to some of the most fascinating conversations with the artists that I work with. Uncovered the layers that don't work for them, but also seen some shining examples of what does work. I finally decided it would serve you to be able to hear some of these intimate conversations as well! Instead of more examples and stories about the "starving artist" why not just like, literally go ask thriving artists,

"So, how are you doing this anyway?"

My first interviewee? Photographer, Anastasia Kuba, whose Nothing But Light project went viral last year and is helping launch her work on a worldwide scale. In this interview we talk about how she decided to create the project that launched her into the global spotlight, the insecurities she shares with other artists, and how she's able to make her creative work financially support her.
