Hi! I’m Holly Shaw. Like you, I know first hand how it feels to have the desire to expand creatively and pursue my dreams as an artist. I’ve been a professional dancer, choreographer, and dance instructor in the San Francisco Bay Area for fifteen years.

 

From the age of five I knew I belonged onstage.  By the time I was twelve I had my own agent, at sixteen I was starring in the film, Love Hurts, and at twenty-three I had danced around the world performing on big stages and working as a TV host on Festival Revue for the Edinburgh Arts Festival.  

 

At thirty, I began making my own work and founded the Eve's Elixir project, a platform for artists of contemporary dance and music, producing and curating several shows in the San Francisco Bay Area. I've had my work commissioned by the West Wave Festival, the internationally renowned company Caminos Flamencos and I've been funded by the Hewlitt Foundation for the Arts.  

 

But my deepest passion is helping performers KILL IT onstage and create original work without selling out. And I've spent the last several years coaching and helping hundreds of performing artists, from Grammy nominated artists and world class dancers, to artists who are just starting to call themselves "pro," do just that.

 

I know that it takes a lot of courage, focus, and special inspiration to be a performer or a creator. And so, I lovingly crafted these meditation tracks specifically for performers and creators like you in order to help you get into alignment before stepping into the studio, into an audition, or onto the stage. 

 

Ever since I learned the power of meditation, I've experienced a sharper articulation of creative ideas, an easing up of stage fright. It's helped me "get in the mood" to practice or create in the studio and has dramatically shifted the way I can be present and respond when I'm onstage.

 

So, I started teaching this stuff to other performers and creators in my workshops and one on one and the results have been really powerful!
