Episode 18 with Tracee Bebee

Kicking Your Creative Excuses to the Curb

May 23rd, 2018

When it comes to finding time for your creative work, do you make a lot of excuses?  Are you blocked on how to make more time for it , or make better use of the time you do have?  You’ll love this episode where I’m joined with the kick assery of screenwriter, writing coach and author of “No Excuses, Just Write” Tracee Bebee.  Hear how Tracee made it through a life changing illness to become a writer at age 40 and why she advocates for a creative habit that you work at every single day.

Tracee Beebe is a full time screenwriter whose projects focus on damaged characters and their relationships with each other. Her goal is to create projects that inspire people to believe in "every day miracles." Her film credits include My Silent Voice and Goodbye Sirena just to name a few. She just wrapped filming for her most recent project: producing horror film, Date from Hell. Tracee also works as a coverage reader for both screenwriting contests and literary managers and enjoys coaching other writers through their own process.

Tracee's previous career as a horse trainer, and her work in animal rescue, has flavored much of her work and given her the tenacity to believe that anything is possible if you just work hard enough along with the humility to know that there is always more to learn.
